Some general rules before you log into vent are as follows;

* No text to speach spam
* Join once, Not join leave and come back 30 times.
* Respect people on our ventrilo server, If not, You will be kicked.
* Last but no least, Don't come into a channel blasting music, Some people don't like your music, Or are playing.


Radio

Connect to radio.sincityrp.com:8000

To connect to this radio, you can either use win amp or Windows Media Player, by clicking file? Open URL, and enter: radio.sincityrp.com. radio.sincityrp.com itself can also be entered in your internet browser, and you will then be directed to the shoutcast server page, where you can select the "Listen" tab (Located towards the top of the page) to download the .pls file, which can be opened by any media player you use capable that is capable of playing internet stream (Win amp, Windows Media Player, and iTunes all support this feature). This page can be also used to review the song history of the shoutcast, if you should ever feel like looking further into a song that you liked.

IRC

You can connect to IRC servers with different programs, the one I use is called mIRC. I edited mIRc so it would be easier on you, who will be using it the first time. Visually made it to look a bit better. Easy commands and such. Common useful settings set. I gathered all the necessary files into install file. Simple. Download here

The server is set to sincity's. All you got to do , is change your data. Open mIRC.exe > Click the hammer button(Options button) on the top left corner of the screen. Choose "Connect" from the selection on the left. Now fill in your data.

Full Name: Put it what ever you want, nobody need your real name. (for example: Mr. Houdini)

Email address: Same as with the name - if you like to share it put something random there (for example: me@me.me)

Nickname: The name you will be using in the chat. Use format Firstname_Lastname (for example: Carlo_Carlon)

Alternative: Used if your name is taken already. (for example: Carlo)

Click Ok. You are ready to Connect. Click the lightning bolt button(Connect button) on the top left corner. Mainly used channels #scrp-public and #scrp-help should automatically open when you are connected, also a sound should play for a second.

Some commands: (type in chat or status window, doesn't matter)

/ns help (Full help conserning names and such)
/cs help (Full help conserning channels, registering them and such)
/ns register (registers your current name, so others couldnt use it)
/ns identify (if you log in and the nick is registered, you have to log in)
/join #(channelname) ( joins a chatroom , for example /join #carlo)
